As "they" say, "Red sky at night, sailor's delight. Red sky in the morning, sailors take warning." So, this morning at 7:30am we had red sky!
Then by 8am it changed to this......
Predictions are for a "chance" of rain tonight.
Today is the first game of the MLB World Series with the L.A. Dodgers vs Boston Red Sox. It will be on Fox and it will start at 7pm central time. Here is the schedule:

Interesting about Burt Lancaster........
Burton Stephen Lancaster (November 2, 1913 – October 20, 1994) was an American actor and producer. Initially known for playing "tough guys", he went on to achieve success with more complex and challenging roles. He was nominated four times for Academy Awards and won once for his work in "Elmer Gantry" in 1960. He also won a Golden Globe for that performance and BAFTA Awards for "The Birdman of Alcatraz" (1962) and "Atlantic City" (1980).
At the age of 19, Lancaster met Nick Cravat, with whom he developed a lifelong partnership. Together they learned to act in local theater productions and circus arts at Union Settlement, one of the city's oldest settlement houses. They formed the acrobat duo Lang and Cravat in the 1930s and soon joined the Kay Brothers circus.
However, in 1939, an injury forced Lancaster to give up the profession, with great regret. He then found temporary work, first as a salesman for Marshall Fields and then as a singing waiter in various restaurants.
During the 1950s, his production company Hecht-Hill-Lancaster was highly successful, making films such as "Trapeze" (1956), "Sweet Smell of Success" (1957), "Run Silent, Run Deep" (1958), and "Separate Tables" (1958). The American Film Institute ranks Lancaster as #19 of the greatest male stars of classic Hollywood cinema.

Tortellini Crock Pot Meal:
1 bag tortellini
2 cans Italian style diced tomatoes (the ones with roasted garlic and basil are good!)
4 cups vegetable broth
1 package cream cheese
1 bag fresh spinach
Put all ingredients in crock pot, chunking up the cream cheese, and cook on low for 5 hours.
If you wanted, you could also add in some cooked shredded chicken, or un-cooked and cut into bite sized pieces, or cut up ham, or anything that floats your boat!

Interesting...........today is National Boston Cream Pie Day and the Dodgers are playing the Boston Sox today in Boston! Of course if you are from Boston, you'd pronounce it 'Bass-tan' !!! Been there, heard that, went to the Cheers Bar.

In 1856, at Boston’s Parker House Hotel, Armenian-French chef M. Sanzian created this pudding and cake combination which comprises two layers of sponge cake filled with vanilla flavored custard or creme patisserie. The cake is then topped with a chocolate glaze, such as a ganache or sometimes powdered sugar and a cherry.
In 1996, Massachusetts declared the Boston Cream Pie as their official dessert.
