Good 50º somewhat cloudy/smokey morning.
The temps weren't too high yesterday, I think the high 80ºs but the smoke
came in here heavy by afternoon. The smoke makes for pretty sunsets.... the
only good thing! 8:15pm:
Yesterday morning I headed into Grants Pass to to meet Brian Jen Tucker and
Sami at Tap Rock for brunch. OINK!!!!
Sami's monster waffles, whip cream, chocolate syrup, sausage, and
roll.
Brian's scrambled eggs, bacon, and biscuit and gravy...
Poor Tucker, hasn't eaten in a week!
Jen's oatmeal and strawberries....
Bobo's vegetarian omelette and fruit. (YUMMMMMM!)
Sami wanted to take pictures with my camera.... she had fun. So I made a
Smilebox of her pictures....
I came back to RR and stopped in at Ace to get some deer blocks.
The deer love them... something to nibble on. When I got here the momma deer and two of her fawns were inside my front yard. How those babies got over the fence is the question. I walked towards the gate, mom bolted over the fence, and I opened the gate. The fawns were in a panic. I walked to the back door and when I came through the house and looked out the babies were with their mom!

I put out a deer block in the front by the water tub and one in the back on
the grass... When I got up this morning the buck was nibbling on the one in the
back.
In the afternoon I looked out and momma doe and one baby were in the yard.
I finally figured out how the babies get in the yard... they go through the big
openings in the fence!
The bread loaf I bought at 7 Oaks Farm the other day comes from a local
Central Point bakery. If you live in this area you can purchase the bread, not
only at 7 Oaks, but also at Rogue Creamery, Ashland and Medford Farmers
Markets...
Check their home page... and then check the breads they make:
This came from email pal, Gator...... Hill-liar-y's emails...
