Good 38º morning. Was in the 80ºs yesterday and will stay there for today,
but cooling off to the 70º this weekend. Fall? Maybe.

My high school friend, Greg Lundell (Wilson S'63), was a limo driver for a
time after his retirement. Greg was our 'DJ' at school, spinning those vinyls
during lunchtime. He had the sexiest perfect DJ voice! He sent me this: thanks

I drove him from the Montage, Laguna Beach to SNA... about a 30 minute
drive mid-day. He was very relaxed and congenial with me... made a single

Dinner last night was GREAT!
Alfredo sauce, shrimp, mushrooms, tomato, chives from the garden, and angel
hair pasta.
Going to have reruns for breakfast.

National Apple Crisp Day
4 cups thinly sliced apples
1/4 cup orange juice
1/2 t. ground cinnamon
1/4 t. ground nutmeg
3/4 cup all purpose flour
pinch salt
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup butter
Preheat oven to 375º. Lightly grease 9" pie plate.
Mound sliced apples in pie plate. Sprinkle with orange juice.
In medium bowl mix flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Cut in butter until
mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Scatter over apples. Bake 45 min. Serve warm
with vanilla ice cream.
