L Logic ~ Woodpile ~ One Pot Quinoa Dinner ~

Good 33º clear icy sunny morning.

FYI, I was at Wal-Mart yesterday, something I rarely do, but the opportunity presented itself and I went in... they have Globe Ocean Mist artichokes ... these are the best. Get some....

The main reason I rarely go into Wally World is that the customers are probably the dumest and rudest of any anywhere! They block the isles and stand and talk with their friends and their children are screaming and yelling... just not where I enjoy shopping. Seems like there, nobody has an iota of consideration for anyone else. And yes, they do dress lovely!

 

Last night....Barack Obama had a date with George Clooney and Hollywood's liberal elite at a glitzy $15 million re-election "blockbuster" fundraiser. And while he was wining and dining with celebrities, millions of unemployed Americans are struggling. Sure makes sense, doesn't it?

Alex will be here at 11am to do some log splitting. He's got quite a pile out there to split....

Jason was up here yesterday doing some more of that weed eating! We'll get there! I need to do some more spraying and mowing. UGH.

I made a 'one pot dinner' the other night, pictures didn't come out very well.... Browned some ground turkey, added in broccoli slaw. Cooked quinoa in the rice cooker with broccoli, canned sliced mushrooms, whole black olives, carrots, and some Cucina & Amore Pasta Sauce.... Tomatoes with Olives (green and black)

I got the sauce at Grocery Outlet, they have it on Amazon now too. It's AWESOME. Tastes like it was just fresh made in an Italian kitchen. Actually it comes from Italy. Anyway, what a great meal~! Picture does it no justice... sorry...

And I tried a new coffee creamer... International Delight Caramel Macchiato. OMGOOD!
