Good 41ยบ clouds sitting right down on top of us morning! No rain predicted
for today, but for tomorrow.
Nice yesterday. Had doors and windows open, some clouds, lots of sun. Nice
because Jeannie's brother and wife are out here from Philly. Glad she could show
him we don't rust every day!
Here is a video about the Clydesdale horses that is so easy to watch.
Beautiful animals!!!
I found this picture on line when I searching for a video of rapid weapon
fire..... (posted on the blog 4-2) :
Now is that Bruiser's twin or what??? Slight variation on the nose ... but
so close.
I cooked artichokes for dinner last night. Was wondering if any of you ever
cut off the stem at the bottom of the choke, cut the very end off the stem, and
cook the stem with the artichoke?
Yesterday the flurry of exhilaration fervor and high spirits along with
verve was unmatched. I balanced my checkbook, paid bills on line, and 'tried' to
organize a bunch of stuff on my desk! Such a titillation! (gadz.....)

must be brave Scarlett: No. Ashley: You must. How else can I bear
going? Oh, Scarlett, you are so fine and strong and beautiful. Not just your
sweet face, my dear but you. Scarlett: Ashley, kiss me. Kiss me goodbye!
Ashley: No, Scarlett. Scarlett: Oh, Ashley, I love you. I've
always loved you. I've never loved anyone else. I only married Charles just to
hurt you. Ashley, tell me you love me. I'll live on it the rest of my life.

...ITALIAN!!
... a tragedy I still feel very sad about.
Jan and Dean came to my high school. I was sitting in an aisle seat and could
almost touch them as they walked to the stage. Sigh.......................... So
sad Jan's death.

I love her drawings. In fact, I just bought a Sandra Boynton
calendar.
..........what a donkey!
I have a couple of returning yearly geese who have returned to the front yard. The others
sit on the barn roof or gather by the pasture fence behind the house. I'm sure
these are the same ones who used to perch on the crossbar of the telephone pole,
when we had a crossbar! So, I have been taking out cracked corn to them. Here
they are, very comfortable...
And while I was photographing them Mr. Hummer dive bombed on me~! LOL. Then
he ate, keeping an eye on what I was doing.....
Today is the law enforcement luncheon. I may be the only LASD holding down
the fort. Everyone off to golfing in the deserts of So. Cal, headed to Laughlin
for the big LASD reunion, or have something going on at their homes they can't
leave for. (Bill has to entertain his bro-in-law with wii games ...
LAPD will be out
in force (lol) as usual. It's tough being #1 in the county with only
me/myself/and I to back it up! Oh wait, Carolyn will probably be there, she was
an LASD Dispatcher ... she drives Walter, the 90 year old ret. LAPD to the
lunches.
All I know. Nuff said. Happy Hump Day. Ciao.
