Good 48º drizzling morning.
Yesterday only warmed to a high of 59º ... and stayed overcast
until the clouds came down on the mountain....
Then about 3pm it started raining! OMG. It was "a chance"... LOL. Good
chance!! That didn't last long, but by late evening it started again and on and
off all night. So far another 1/4" has fallen.
My morning coffee this time of year..
Outside while Dude runs to the trees.... a couple momma turkeys and a Jake
and 3 babies were out there... surprised me, the were not scared!
My maple tree in the back... so pretty and brilliant!
After Dude is "finished" with his morning duty he comes back in. Then I
make a cup of coffee and work on the next day's blog and read my email. Lots of
times it is impossible to write as the Bruise makes himself totally comfortable
in the middle of everything!
Breakfast... cottage cheese topped with shredded chicken, drops of sriracha
mayo and a couple spider deviled eggs.. and the rest of the olives... YUMMMMMY!
Looks like the Kansas Royals have beat the NY Mets out of the World Series.
Yesterday's football scores...
And tonight, Monday Night Football:
Great Cats of the World Park in Cave Junction posted these pictures. In the
first one are the white and yellow tiger kittens I got to hold on my
birthday!!
They sure seem to love pumpkins!!!

Later I ran "5 Miles" down to the trash can and put it up on
the road. Stopped at PJ and Dave's. Had some floor mats that are padded. Dave
could use them by his workbench in his shop. He was happy. Dude, er 5 Miles, was
happy to pee on every bush on their property!
Afternoon... chair, football, martini ... ahhhhh..... We also
had a fire in the wood stove..
Bruiser got snuggy in my slippers... and Dude stretched out..
Made the martini with pickled asparagus. Mmmmmmm
All I know. Happy Monday. Nuff said. Ciao.

November 2nd
National Deviled Egg Day
(Shoot, I made those spider deviled eggs two days too soon!)
Don't limit yourself... add new things to the deviled eggs... I like pesto
in some, diced bacon and diced tomatoes, ranch dressing, smoked salmon,
guacamole instead of mayo, blue cheese & buffalo wing sauce....... Get
creative!
