Today is my great-nephew's birthday. Jimmy and Melinda's baby boy! Ha. Not
a baby anymore!! 22 years old. Need a current picture Mel! This taken about 2
years ago.. HAPPY BIRTHDAY SLOANY BOLOGNY !!!!
Nephew Jim, Sloan, Ryan, and Melinda...
Not long ago I bought an ironing pad. I got rid of my ironing board years
ago and got a steamer. But, sometimes I need to iron something. This works
spectacular. It has magnets on each end and hooks around the washing machine or
dryer.
Breakfast yesterday ... Egg whites, Siracha mayo, Swiss cheese, parmesan
cheese, pre-cooked bacon, jalapeño cheddar wrap..
Cooked egg whites with the siracha mayo and some garlic salt, microwaved
the bacon, piled all onto the wrap and had tomatoes to go with...
I got my big stock dividend check from BofA yesterday!
Such a stupid company! Postage is more than dividend!

Dude had to go to the vet's for his shots yesterday. Had to be at 2pm~
YUCK!!! HOT!!! Thank goodness the car and vet's office are air conditioned! I
can start my car from the front porch and in the summer the AC comes on and in
the winter the heat comes on. Neat!
Mom, do we have to be here???
Dr. D and Ellen... checking teeth and gums. All look good!
Oh goodie, now you get a shot! .... And then toenails clipped!
Back home and Dude napping from his ordeal. I started dinner and outside
was this buck drinking water from the bucket I keep filled... (hard to get good
pictures through the window!)
Then along came a doe....
Dinner was veggies and more veggies... corn, spinach, cauliflower, snap
peas, broccoli, carrots...
They all went into a pan with some water and lemon infused olive oil and
the tortellini/peas/chicken leftovers... steamed and then sauteéd until a little crispy color on the veggies...
Cook the corn in boiling water for as long as you like but make sure you
add at least 1/4-1/3 cup of vinegar. It will keep the corn crispy even if it
sits in the hot water 20 minutes!
The corn was slathered with balsamic mayonnaise (YUMMM!)
Then it was a quick chat with Jeannie and a chat with Linda, TV, and nap
time!
All I know. Nuff said. Happy TGIF. Ciao.

National Stay Out Of The Sun Day
Stay Out of the Sun Day encourages us stay cool in the shade, and to
give our skin a rest from the hot, damaging rays of the sun.
The sun is directly over head. We're in the middle of summer, when the
temperatures are the hottest, and the sun is the brightest. It's not a bad day
to take a break from catching all of those rays and stay out of the sun.
Find some fun and relaxing ways to stay in the shade. A hammock strung
behind two shady trees sounds like a great way to
go!
