Good 50º wispy cloudy morning...
Yesterday stayed clear and sunny and we hit 91º. Breezy and the weather guy
kept saying a "chance" but not very good of rain maybe after the weekend. All
the storms are moving north through Washington.
Yesterday morning after I was barely awake, Ted called from Evan's Pest
Control. He was going to be here in 30 min to spray my berry bushes....
He got those all sprayed and even found some poison oak he sprayed. Didn't
charge me for the spray, only the "house call" as he had sprayed them before but
whatever he used, it was basically for the tar weed, didn't work, so he came
back to do the job!
Breakfast yesterday... scrambled eggs with parsley and Parmesan cheese atop
the tater tots I sauteéd with the mushrooms night before ... and some cottage
cheese with sliced almonds...
Made a couple birthday cards and decided to take a run into town to get
them mailed and pick up prescriptions.
This morning Jorge will be here early to finish up the barn
painting....
Today would
have been Karen Blair's birthday. She was born in 1964 and a member of our
Jackson County Republican Women and Medford City Council member. Sadly she
passed away this last June at the age of 50. She was a really neat gal and
friend. RIP Karen, you are missed.

Yesterday Kristen went for her post surgery/post chemo scan. Results will
be soon. Then she took the day off and went to the LA County Fair in Pomona.
Good day to go, last weekend, and all the kids were in school!
Dinner was reruns.
On TV was the season premier of Last Man Standing with Tim
Allen. OMG, it was so funny. He starts off the first show of the season having
been on a two month trip around the country for his store, Outdoor Man.
Synopsis:
First
Aired: Sep. 25, 2015 on ABC
Summary: Mike
has returned from being on a fantastic two-month road trip traveling to
far-flung places for Outdoor Man. It's great to be back with his wife, Vanessa,
and their three daughters, but finds a lot has been going on at home as well as
on the job since he's been away. To top it all off, a tornado is headed toward
the Outdoor Man store and the Baxter home.
While
he is filming himself prior to getting home he said how happy he will be to be
back home in Colorado. He also said, "you know, that big square state that
smells like pot!" Ohhhhhhh I was laughing. Actually he was born in
Denver,Colorado and is a Republican who likes to slam left-wing and socialist
agendas and OVamit! Yes! Since it is his show, he pretty much says what he
thinks, except once he said OVamit was a communist and the NBC people made them
take that line out! "Freedom of speech" HA!
All I know. Nuff said. Happy Saturday. Ciao.
