Same Old ~ Cathy ~ Broken Pole ~ Potstickers w/ Chicken Patty ~ Popcorn

Good 24º same old same old foggy frozen morning.

Yesterday was standard for how it's looked here for what seems like eternity............

Today is the birthday of my friend, Cathy. I worked with Cathy at ELA. I called her Princess Leia, as she was so small in her radio car..... It looked like she was steering the Enterprise! (taken at ELA in July 1998) HAPPY BIRTHDAY CATHY!!!!!

Yesterday I got a call from the power company guys who said they were at my gate and had a gun pointed at them....

He said, "It says beware of owner" ... and I said, "It's right!" LOL. Anyway they wanted in to check a pole. I hadn't noticed but apparently it has a very large woodpecker nest in it... as evidenced by the very large hole!

They also said, as long as you are taking pictures, look at the cross arms, they are all broken.....

They said they will have to install a new pole. I asked if they were going to shut off my electricity and they said, "No, it's too cold right now." Whew.....

I put this out to former Wilsonites yesterday. I will put it to all of you.... into nostalgia? Here is an antique from the '60's.. a free Mt. Sac notebook. Lemme know, otherwise it's goin' in the trash.
