Good 50º clear sunny morning.
By 2 o'clock we hit 86º. This is the kind of weather I love. Not hot enough
for AC and nice breeze to keep windows and doors open. Ahhhhh.......
Frustrated as all get out yesterday. My kitchen sink stopped up again. The
plumbing here really SUCKS! Called the plumber I have been doing business with
for the last 20 years and was told it would be next week before he could come
out. Too busy. WHAT????? So I called Brian's friend Doug the plumber. He will be
here this morning!!! YIPPEEEEE............... He has been here before when I
couldn't get the other one out here, but have just felt a loyalty. That's done!

If you are thinking of watching the fireworks on the 4th and think a big
bowl of popcorn would be good to munch while doing that, then how about
this:
Smoky Paprika Popcorn
1/4 cup olive oil
6 T popcorn
4 T butter
2 T smoked paprika
1 t garlic powder
1 t onion powder
1/2 t salt
1/2 t black pepper
Cook popcorn the way you normally would, but if using a heavy pot on the
stove use olive oil and popcorn mix as above.
Melt butter and mix in paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, and salt and
pepper. Drizzle over the popcorn and mix until the popcorn is coated. Sprinkle
on more paprika and salt. Enjoy!
Later for dinner in the Air Fryer (http://www.powerairfryer.com/ ) I
cooked some Schwans Alaska Cod (still frozen http://www.schwans.com/products/product?id=52118 )
drizzled with olive oil for 13 minutes and in the micro I steamed Schwans green
beans (http://www.schwans.com/products/product?id=60498 )
. A little tartar sauce and spinach to go with.....
PERFECT!!!! I just love it... EASY and GOOD!
All I know. Nuff said. Happy TGIF. Ciao.
