Good 43º raining morning.
Good game last night..... I know Big D at Ace
will be happy and Phil and Suz Santisteven!
LOL......
Yesterday typical of what goes on here... The Bruise
wanted out, "Please mom?" Then he wants back in. Then out. Then in.... sigh....
as bad as a dog!
Breakfast was simple... Greek yogurt, banana, and citrus
sea salt...
Then.... Mr. Coyote showed up in the pasture. Same one
that's been here for a couple of years. Had a bad limp that has decreased a bit.
Surprised he's still alive!
Dude and Bruiser were concerned and keeping an eye on
him..
Went to Medford for doc appointment.
The results of my MRI.... "nuttin' in there"!! LOL. The
nurses and I talked about the Ramen Burger, one had heard about it. They are all
going to try it now! Then to Costco...
Had a blast shopping. Got lots of veggies (broccoli,
green beans, mushrooms, mini squash, spinach, grape tomatoes), Greek yogurt spinach kale spread (OMG SO good on rice cakes!),two HUGE lobster
tails for $20, spinach & cheese ravioli, chicken for Dude, pig ears, and a
bottle of Pinot Noir. Home and put all away. Poured a glass of the Pinot...
really good!
Dinner was mushroom ravioli that I boiled and then
fried..
I reconstituted dried mushrooms and sauteéd them.
The leftover ground beef from making the Ramen Burger I
sauteéd, added in Weber Garlic Seasoning, mushroom soup, three cheese Alfredo
sauce, and chives, garlic, sliced olives, and capers. Cooked that down and put
it on top of the ravioli. OMGOOD!!!!!
Then it was get comfy, a nice snuggy fire, critters
happy, wine poured, and FOOTBALL!
Today is a special birthday... y'all remember Greg
Lundell (Wilson S'63) ... my pal.. my 'surfer stompin' pal .... "The voice" of
Wilson campus radio! Sexy DJ voice!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY GREG!!!! Still.... the
handsome guy!!!
Greg and Becky moved to Illinois recently. They have a
brand new granddaughter.... and are adjusting to a totally different climate and
lifestyle from living in So. Cal forever!
Mike (who
was the birthday boy on the 3rd) and Nan Cipolla are celebrating their
anniversary today. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY KIDS!
Historically this
date.....
... yeah
yeah yeah, that was the name of my high school... Woodrow Wilson. Natch the
mascot was a Mule! Sue Shewalter and I were the 'inside workings' of the mascot.
We'd parade around on the football field, sitting on the players laps (ha ha
ha... that was Sue's end!!!) and being silly. What a job, you get really sweaty
inside those costumes! I doubt if anyone ever took our picture. Sad.
