Maggie ~ Star Mangled Banner ~ PEANUT BUTTER Cheerios!

Good 38º drizzly morning. Over night we got almost 1/4" rain. Pressure is going up, so who knows about today.

Yesterday was a gloomy gus all day.... never changed.

The vet, Dr. Ron, called me yesterday and told me the biopsy of Maggie's lump from her shoulder came back and it's non-cancerous. YEAH!!!!! It was a cyst that used up it's blood supply and reached out to become a technical medical term thingy. Whatever................... anyway, $500 later she has a big scar, no hair will grow back on her shoulder, and thank goodness she can't see her butt! We'll have to re-name her to "Maggie the Glabrescent"* or "Spot"!

*hairless [hair-lis]
adjective
without growth on body part
Synonyms: bald, baldheaded, beardless, clean-shaven, cue ball, depilated, egghead, glabrate, glabrescent , glabrous, shaved, shaven, shorn, skinhead, smooth, smooth-faced, tonsured, whiskerless

In case you missed Steven Tyler's version of the Star Mangled Banner .... Here it is:
... and Tommy looking at him like "WTF?" My thoughts exactly!

Historically this date....

2003 – The United States Department of Homeland Security officially begins operation.
..............now if we could only get someone with a brain in charge of the TSA~!

And births this date include....
1917Ernest Borgnine, American actor

1941Neil Diamond, American singer

Mmmmmmm.... he was a cutie!

1943 – Sharon Tate, American actress and Manson murder victim (d. 1969)

1949John Belushi, American actor (d. 1982)

1968 – Mary Lou Retton, American gymnast

What a lovely family!

1983 – Scott Speed, American race car driver

................this is funny, his name and profession. He was destined to race. Just like one of the doctors in the Cardiology unit is named Dr. Lightheart.... destiny in a name. And my son, with the name Pendleton was destined to be a Marine! This is fun.... let's see ... who else.... Linda Toot played the flute in the Milwaukee Symphony! Mr. Sues is an attorney. Dr. Fingers is a gynecologist. Dr. Dick Bone (WHAT were his parents thinking????????) is a osteopath. Dr. I. Doctor is an ophthalmologist. In El Monte there is a dentist Dr. Ow. Roland Cruz in an auto mechanic!

All I know. Nuff said. Happy Tuesday. Ciao.
