FYI:
Seattle Washington has the most coffee shops of
any city in the US. People in Seattle like their coffee. It's the birthplace of
Starbucks and home to over 1600 coffee shops - That's nearly a single coffee
shop for every 3000 people. Talk about a caffeine rush! Here is the Pike Place
Starbucks, the first Starbucks....
I LOVE those old Bentwood chairs! In fact I was somewhat of a 'chair
collector'. I have three of those types:
These other two Bentwood chairs came out of the Terminal Annex Post Office
cafeteria in Los Angeles when they remodeled. Daddy brought them to me.
This "police interrogation room chair" you have seen on cop shows....
Other chairs I have..... two of these, one yellow:
An old high chair with wicker seat and back:
And a fold up metal child's chair:
Fortunately for my family, I have quit "collecting" !!!!
Dinner was Mexican rice with mushrooms and chives, asparagus,
and some of that rotissarie chicken...
I chopped the chives and added them and some dried mushrooms
to the rice in the rice cooker..
The asparagus was tossed with olive oil and seasoned with garlic salt and
herbs and put in the steamer basket on the rice cooker...
OMGOOOOD!!!!!
All I know. Nuff said. Happy Saturday. Ciao.

National Eggs Benedict Day
National Eggs Benedict Day is a day to enjoy eggs with hollandaise sauce,
Canadian bacon and English muffins.
A lot of people have never had Eggs Benedict. If you're upper crust, you
most likely have enjoyed Eggs Benedict a number of times, and perhaps, on a
regular basis. However, many people (regular folk) have never tried Eggs
Benedict. Go ahead and do a survey. See how many of your friends can even tell
you how its made, or what's in it. Or, ask them what hollandaise sauce is.
Celebrate today by eating Eggs Benedict. If it's your first time, we
suggest you go to a restaurant where they know from experience how to properly
make it.
