People who died too young... These I didn't know. Did you?
Carl "Alfalfa" Switzer of the original Little Rascals died at 31 when he was shot and killed over an argument concerning $50!
Michael Garber known as Michael Banks from Mary Poppins died at 21 from Hemorrhagic Pancreatitis caused from contacting hepatitis in India the previous year.

Later I decided on starting fixing my dinner early. Wanted a salad with lots of veggies and salmon and homemade dressing.

So, re-hydrated some green beans, diced potatoes, mushroom slices, peas, and celery..

Then I stir-fried some broccoli stir fry (LOL) with lemon infused olive oil and a little water and garlic salt. When finished, just al denté, it went into the colander...

Next I chopped a green bell pepper and cut the canned artichoke hearts in half... into the colander they went too...

I added all that and the re-hydrated veggies to a big bowl and refrigerated.
The dressing was 1 cup of mayonnaise, 1/4 cup sugar, 1/4 cup O Olive Oil ( http://www.ooliveoil.com/ ) Orange Blossom Champagne Vinegar, 1/8 cup lemon juice, 1 tsp Trinidad Lemon Garlic, and 1 tsp lemon salt (sea salt & lemon flavor and tumeric). Whisked well and put in jar in fridge...

Kept in the fridge until I was ready to eat.
Then I put some fresh baby spinach in the dish, sauteéd veggies, re-hydrated veggies, and half the can of salmon... Topped with the dressing. Had a rice cake to go along with.
                                          OMGOOOD!!

Mutt's Day
This was my Lucy. She was a mutt.... half Collie and half German Shepherd

....and of course Dude is a mutt.....half Lab and half Rottweiler

It's Mutt's Day.  Mutts deserve their day in the spotlight, as much as a pure breed. If you own a mutt, or you are a mutt (reading this), then you know this day is for you.

By definition a mutt, sometimes called a "Half-breed", is a dog that is of mixed breed.  They come from two to several breeds. Purebred owners, and sometimes the public in general, view them as lesser in many ways. Mutt owners know better. They value the diversity and uniqueness of their mutts. Sure, a mutt doesn't carry the expensive price tag that a purebred with papers has on its head. To the mutt owner, however, the mutt is invaluable. In addition, mutts don't walk around needing to prove anything. You won't see them strutting around any dog shows trying to prove they are the best.

To all mutts and and mutt owners, we hope you thoroughly enjoy Mutt's Day. Spend the day relaxing and doing all the things you and your dog like to do. Do so with both of
