Good 48º clear sunny morning.
Sky was interesting yesterday morning. Off to the NW it was blue sky and
puffy clouds:
To the SW it was half and half:
And to the W it very dark:
3o minutes later it was all clear blue sky! We hit a high of 89º.
My pal Miss Bonnie (formerly Klinger) Seiberts and her hubby Bill were just
on a trip to Costa Rica. She sent this picture of the Arenal Volcano. Last
erupted in 1998. Still smokes sometimes...
Yesterday was my 6 month dental appointment at Bright Now in Grants Pass. Well when the gal
called me to confirm the appointment, she neglected to tell me that the office
had moved! The old building was empty.
I was confused. On the door it said the new address, which as
it turns out is next door. But, it's on a one way street, and up the street not
down, so I had to go out the driveway and go around the block.
THEN the gal at the desk said something about my appointment
with "TS". HUH? Liz is my hygienist. Oh, she's on vacation. Ok, then, change my
appointment for when she returns. She is the only reason I switched offices as
she left the one in Rogue River. SHEEEESH. SO no teeth cleaning until the end of
next month!
Next, Safeway for some groceries. Talked to a nice guy, thought he was
wayyyy older than me, with a USN hat on. Turns out he's 3 years younger than me!
LOL. Guys...... ditch the white beards!!!
Historically this date...

Company sells its first

1984 – Vanessa

............very strange
man.
Interesting how just one blow job can
make you a movie star!
The whole family of ground squirrels were out atop the stump
in the upper pasture...
Dinner was an Omaha Steaks Chicken in Pastry...
Chunks of chicken breast, onions, celery, peas in a white cream sauce. And
some veggie cakes (from Costco) ....
Heat oven to 450º, do not thaw pastry. Brush with beaten egg. Bake 45
minutes. The last 10 minutes I baked the veggie cakes. I topped the cakes with a
bit of Walden Farms Mayo..
PERFECT!!!
Two young bucks made their way down the pasture....
They ended up in the backyard where the water tubs are and the pear tree!
They love the leaves off that tree and are happy when the pears start dropping!
I didn't want to scare them, so didn't get any pictures of them in the
back
Chair, wine, and Blue Bloods....
All I know. Nuff said. Happy Saturday. Ciao.

National Hot Dog Day
Hot dog, hot dog, hot diggety dog! Today is National Hot Dog Day, On
this date, we celebrate one of America's favorite summer sandwiches. It is only
fitting that this dog gets its day.
Its summertime. Hot dogs are center stage on the grill, and at picnics all
across America. They are at the ballpark. They are sold from carts on street
corners in every city. It's not hard to find them. We consume hundreds of
millions of hot dogs on the Fourth of July alone.
Enjoy National Hot Dog
Day to the fullest. Have a couple
of hot dogs for lunch or dinner. And, don't forget to cook a few on a stick at
the evening campfire.
What's in a hot dog? Don't'
ask, and we won't tell. Sometimes, its best if you don't know.
Happy National Hot Dog
Day!
