Good 51ยบ clear sunny morning.
He mowed for 5 hours!
I went out and sat on the porch with Dude and Bruiser (while they napped!)....
Clouds came in. I thought this looked like a big white bear coming out of the cloud!
The hummingbirds hung out too.....
Today is my Schwan's delivery. YEAH!
Interesting... my pals Edda and Trish and I were having a chat about our husband's "uniform". Jerry's was JC Penny's tee shirt, Levis 501, and a Pendleton shirt on occasion. Edda said her hubby's was the same and Trish's hubby basically the same only a Harley Davidson shirt instead of a plain tee shirt.
Click here for the history of Levis.
Jerry was quite upset a number of years back, after we moved here to Oregon, that the Levis he loved were being made in Mexico. So, he quit buying them and instead bought Prison Blues "Made on the inside to be worn on the outside". Made in Oregon at the prison in Pendleton Oregon! http://www.prisonblues.net/

On June 19, shake up some gin and vermouth with some ice and add a lemon twist. It’s National Martini Day!
This adult beverage has grown to become one of the best-known mixed alcoholic drinks. A cocktail made with gin and vermouth, the martini is normally garnished with an olive or lemon twist.
James Bond, the fictional spy, sometimes asked for his vodka martinis to be “shaken, not stirred.”
Some people prefer to have their martinis served “on the rocks”, which is the ingredients poured over ice cubes and served in an old-fashioned glass.
Dirty martini – Martini with a splash of olive brine or olive juice and is typically garnished with an olive.
Over the years, the traditional martini has had a number of variations added to it and other flavors have evolved such as the cosmopolitan, chocolatini or appletini.
HOW TO OBSERVE
Mix your favorite martini and drink responsibly.
** I like my martini dirty! I like Dirty Sue Martini Mix for that... either vodka or gin. YUMMMM-O !
