Good morning. First blog after a week on the road, and 2000
miles round trip. This morning it's 36º.
Yesterday, Easter, started out at 34º with a little ice on the
barn roof. Warmed to 51º. Started raining about noon. Just sprinkles. Looks like
maybe more today...
First of all I wanted to thank all of you for your good thoughts and
prayers for Kristen. ♥ Also, thank you for the good Easter wishes and for all of
you who said you missed my blog while I was gone. Your words are soooo
appreciated!!!!! ♥
Brian sent this video of Tucker's first little league game of the season
this last Saturday. He's on the Durham Bulls team. Here is a 17 second view of
him pitching...
He also caught (GREAT catcher!!!) and the team won 11-7. (Thought it
apropos, his mom Jen's birthday is 7-11!!)
To Brian and Jen's for breakfast with them and Tucker, Sami,
and Grandma Jean. I got them a box from the Popcorn Factory with jellybeans,
chocolate bunnies, popcorn, etc. (http://www.thepopcornfactory.com/ )
and a box of Annie's Bunny Grahams (http://www.annies.com/products/cookies )
The kids did their Easter Egg hunt first thing. A quick video
of that event:
Look, an empty egg box and a carrot left for the Easter Bunny on the
porch!
Then Jen had prepared an awesome breakfast
.. mimosas, ham, scrambled eggs, hash browns, blueberries and raspberries,
and yummmmmy cupcakes.....
We were entertained by Tucker, Sami, and Brian juggling the plastic Easter Eggs!!!
Afterwards we watched Mary Poppins. Sami brought out all her big stuffed
animals and blankets and got comfy!
