Good 42º wispy clouds morning.
I got a new shirt yesterday....
Throw Back Thursday.... Kirk Gibson and me...
Tommy Lasorda and our Sheriff Sherman Block were friends and
Kirk wanted a permit to carry, as he had been robbed in front of his
home.
So Sherm told Lasorda to have him come to the BC Range so they
could determine if he knew how to handle a gun. I was working for Fabergé at the
time and Jerry called me to say Gibson was at the range. I immediately went
there. I was at the 1988 World Series game with my sister Marion when Kirk
hobbled to the plate and hit the winning run.
He was sooooooooooo nice!!
I finally got a smilebox put together of the first 3 days of
my road trip with pal Linda from here to W. Covina. The next one will be to
Laughlin....

Yesterday I went into town and picked up PJ and Dave's mail.
Later I went to Garrison Field to watch Tucker and his Little League Orioles
play. Tucker's number is 1 ! He played left field.
Up to bat and he got a hit and on base....
Brian is a sponsor of the Little League..
The game was at 5:30 and on my way home about 7:30 the moon
was out, very light and hard to see and wispy clouds......

seconds and if you haven't seen it before you will get a good laugh. A French ad
about it being said 'paper is dead' because we are living in and electronic
age. ???
