Good  28º morning... during the night we got a ton more snow! YIKES. And it's still coming down.Guess that means I won't be going anywhere AGAIN. Not driving in this mess....



Yesterday was a SUPER SUPER special day... My granddaughter Alexandria, aka Jelly Bean, celebrated her 21st birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY BEAUTIFUL GIRL!!!!

The following photos from our "blackout" days....
Day 1 the 4th in the morning and afternoon....

 Dude out "melting snow" !!!!

And then I heated water on the wood stove to make tea..... heated some soup..... and melted a can of snow.....

Then on Thursday the 5th.... the sun was out and I opened the blinds and with the light I could read. Spent considerable time doing that....

These lanterns are good for finding your way around in the dark.... but not for reading...

 The Bruiser on the other hand climbed on top of the entertainment center and took a nap!

 In the afternoon I went to Dave and PJ's to get water in the jugs... My road was a little dicey, but OK.

Thank you for the concern from so many of you. Thankfully it was just a power outage. Now onto more snow/rain...................
