Good 49ยบ cloudy gloomy morning. No more rain predicted until Tuesday... 60%
chance.
My new hoodie-sweat shirt showed up yesterday...
Breakfast... spinach salad with celery, re-hydrated veggies, chopped up
left-over meatloaf, hard-boiled eggs, and Kraft Creamy Caesar Dressing....
Dude had an appointment at the vet's for his "mani/pedi" yesterday
afternoon. Had a nice chat with a lady whose cat has kidney disease and comes in
once a week for a shot. She said he's outlived his life prediction by one year
so far.
Then to the pharmacy for prescriptions pick up. Next to Ace for cracked
corn.
Finally to the Rogue River PD to tell the gal at the desk my friends
(Georgia Sue and Flory) had seen the story of the 45 minute Chihuahua pursuit on
their local Phoenix news. OMGOSH, Rogue Rive PD is famous! This dog was running
loose, her name Lassie, and the local RRPD cop was trying to catch her. She ran
towards the freeway and he 'herded' her back to town. Later she was found
at one of the local vets. Here is the FB post..
This little fugitive caused quite a stir in downtown Rogue
River today during the lunch hour. He got away from his owner on Cedar Street
and spent the next hour zipping in and out of traffic as he made his way across
town, heading for I-5. Knowing that would have been a catastrophe for both him,
and any motorists he encountered (if they even saw him), RRPD had to use extreme
measures (emergency lights and siren) to "herd" him up Broadway Street and away
from the deadly freeway. It eventually all ended well, and he was safely
returned to his owner, but only after the longest pursuit in RRPD history: 45
minutes.
The dog belongs to a California woman who is visiting here
in RR. The dog had on a dog tag, but it was for her former German Shepherd.
Apparently the dog got loose again and was picked up. The woman will be cited
this time.

Here are the last of the Hollyweird plastics..
Priscilla Presley: (ugh... from pretty to pretty ugly!)
Renee Zellwelger: (She doesn't even look anything like herself now. Don't
get it.)
Tori Spelling: (also from pretty to pretty ugly!)
Now, this is a fascinating site... you click on the make model and year of
a vehicle and the brochure for that car will come up:
This was Jerry's ^. Still here.
Later... chair, wine, TV, reruns for dinner. No, not the pumpkin pasta.
That needs a fix! Think I'll add some of my marinara sauce to the linguini and
make it better!
All I know. Nuff said. Happy TGIF. Ciao.
