So, waited and waited for the UPS delivery of the case of wine
from San Antonio Winery in So. Cal. This was supposed to be delivered on
Thursday before the 4th. I left a note for the "adult signature" to be obtained
from my neighbor. UPS has a new policy (since I worked for them) that if alcohol
is ordered and delivered it has to be signed for by the purchaser.
Anyway, it showed up, finally.

Last night I was going to share a cooking experience with you when I made
dinner, but I ate 1/3 of a bag of Veggie Chips
...and was not hungry nor in the mood to cook. Bruiser wanted to try one, so he chewed it all up, but never swallowed it. Dude, on the other hand, loved them. He got 3.
So, how about this .... a great lunch...
Easy Healthy Asian Chicken Wraps
1 can chunk chicken, drained
2 carrots shredded
3/4 c diced red pepper
4 green onions, sliced
1/4 c light Asian salad dressing
6 large lettuce leaves
Mix all ingredients except lettuce. Divide chicken mixture
between leaves and roll up.
You can also add diced water chestnuts, fresh minced ginger, fresh chopped
mushrooms, garlic powder .... and you can use a rotisserie
chicken...
We apparently have a new UPS driver, who according to neighbors, drives up
our road like he's in a race! They have their dogs and grandchildren outside and
playing when he drives up towards my place and they started yelling at him. So,
I got some signs for our road.... and my UPS friend, Dave, is going to have a
chat with the guy!
