Yesterday, actually the day before there was a truck down on
the other property working on a telephone pole. Yesterday morning there was the
truck at my gate, but they didn't have the code to get in. So the truck went
back to the property below mine and I saw the guy come over the fence and walk
towards the house. Dude of course was barking his head off! I asked the guy if
he had a nice walk! LOL. He said he was with Century Link (our phone company). I
gave him the gate code.
They changed out the phone lines from the pole to my house.
Mine was disconnected for about 30 minutes.
Mike showed up to do the rest of the mowing I had started. YES!!!!
I had some errands to do in Grants Pass and Nancy had a doc
appointment there so, after her appointment she met me here and we went to GP.
Did my errands, Brian's office to drop of some things and the cleaners to pick
up my down comforter.... and then we went to Tap Rock for a glass of wine
We sat out on the deck. It was nice. Cloudy, but comfortable. There was a
mob of people riding the river boats.. HellGate. In fact the parking lot was
filled to the tippity top! Thought everyone was in the restaurant but 6 river
boats left the pier filled!!! We counted the people and there were 54 in each
boat!
We each had a sandwich.. mine was turkey/bacon/cranberry cream cheese and a
side of cottage cheese. YUMMMMMMM!!!!
Nancy had the BLT with avocado and cole slaw
Came home and Mike was finishing up the mowing. So glad to
have that done. Should have started it earlier. After he finished I poured him a
SinFire and we sat on the porch... talking about his grandson who is a Marine
and was in the high sierra for a training mission for 12 days... survival
skills... Mike said they couldn't take anything with them and had to find food.
During that time he lost 20 pounds!!! Holy cow!! We also watched all the birds
come and go to the birdhouses I have all over the porch. Nancy bought me a bird
feeder made from a wine bottle!!! So cute! THANKS Nancy!!!
All I know. Happy TBT. Nuff said. Ciao.
