Today, Lord,
I am so truly thankful for so many things.
You have
Blessed me in many ways. Thank you for this wonderful country I am privileged to
live in.. and for all of it's military, police, and fire heroes. Thank you also
for the regular "Joe Citizen" heroes who put themselves out there to help any
way they can. Thank you Lord for my wonderful family and friends. They are my
greatest Blessings. Thank you Lord for all the
critters you have put on this earth, my very own, especially. They teach us so
much ... unconditional love, loyalty, and understanding.
Lord thank
you for blessing me with a super awesome Mother and Dad. They were the best!
Thank you Lord for blessing me with such great children and grandchildren. All
of my family is wonderful!
And thank you
Lord for the super neat loving animals you have given me to love and be loved
by... there was Scuffy Ann, Heidi, Lucy, Rufus, Dallas, Brutus, Tigger, Blazer,
Harley, Maggie, Yukon, Dude, and Bruiser.
Lord, comfort
those who are in pain, without friends or family, without food. Thank you for
the time I had with loved ones that have gone to be with you. They shall always be in my heart, thoughts, and loved and
greatly missed.
Lord,
continue to Bless and watch over my family and friends. Keep them safe. And
please watch over our country and military. Please impart some wisdom into the
pea brains of the political machines running this country. Give them judging
abilities to help save our country instead of using their position for fame,
fortune, and stepping stones for their personal political future. I know, Lord,
a little soapbox in my prayer! Can't help it. Thank you.
Amen.

November 26th
Tucked
between the two monster sized holidays of Halloween and Christmas, Thanksgiving
receives far less attention. But Thanksgiving is a very important holiday,
especially in the busy lives of Americans. It is a time to kick back and relax,
watch a football game or go to a movie, and enjoy a huge feast. It's also time
for us to give thanks to our God, for the things he has bestowed upon us and
upon this great nation. There is no nation in the world that has more to be
thankful for than
us.
