Good clear (can see stars) but too early morning and 36º! Burrrr...
Yesterday we warmed to 70º. Beautiful day!
Ok, now that it is getting lighter out I can see ice on the barn roof and low low
clouds covering all the mountains. Can't see "my mountain".
Out front yesterday was Mr. Woodpecker ..... I whistled at him and he whistled back!
Out back were the Toms showing off for and following the hens!
"10-23" = stand by....('just wait a second. cool your heels!')
The Bruise always has to hang around when I'm at my desk. He got on top of the computer box and was watching for 'anything' outside. Nothing out there so he took a nap!!
Last night's football scores...

Tater Tots and some Safeway Select Simmer Sauce Mushroom Wine flavor, cottage
cheese and tomato ...
The Tater Tots were baked and then the steaks were broiled. I heated the
simmer sauce and when I plated it all I poured some over the tater tots.
OMGOOOOOOOOD!!!!!
The DirecTV guy was here about 4pm to upgrade me to high def. He said they
have to give me a new dish. I have a pole mount on the ground and he was going
to put the new one on the roof. I said, "NO, because when it snows and covers
the dish I can't clean it off if it's on the roof!" So, now they have to have
"locate" come out and make sure there is no electrical or gas pipes etc where it
goes. The current one has been there FOREVER and there is NO underground
anything in that area on the side of the house.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.............. Rescheduled for next week.
Later... chair, wine, TV.... and a nap!!!
All I know. Nuff said. Happy TGIF. Ciao.

October 23rd
National Canning Day
Dang, can't celebrate today, as I have nothing to can. Used to get little
green tomatoes from Jeannie and make them with garlic and jalapeño for dirty
martinis. Not this year. Ah well.....
Today is also Boston Cream Pie Day!
