Good 33º morning. Clear yesterday then pressure started dropping and now it's going back up. I think there are clouds out there but it's too dark at the moment to see. 5:40am.
Interesting the temps around ....
Breakfast yesterday was some canned salmon (had to share a couple bites with both Harley and Maggs) heated in a pan with halved grape tomatoes. Cooked until the tomatoes were wilted, then added egg substitute and cooked until firm, then adding some pesto cheese curds from The Creamery. Plated and chopped fresh chives on top and drizzled with EVOO pressed with lemons. OMGood!
Yesterday, with the prediction of 5 days of rain, I decided it was definitely time to mow. Mr. Hippo
was disappearing in the tall grass. Mowed the lawn inside the fence in front. Mr. Hippo is back! Then fired up the golf cart and ran around picking up sticks and 'logs' (branches) that fell out of the trees during all the storms we have had. The cart has a bed in the back with a tailgate that folds down so I can fill it up, drive to the burn pile, open the gate, and push the limbs and sticks out.
Nancy, Skeeter's mom, stopped by and we had a chat. Then back to work. Got more mowing done. Then PJ called and they were home so I went down there on the riding lawnmower to have Dave show me how to hook up my sprayer to the mower and how to use it. Never thought to ask Jerry, as he did all that kind of stuff.
The switch on the lawnmower was gunked up so Dave fixed
that. Now I'm all ready to spray, as soon as the rains end....
Neko was being her exploratory self by climbing on top of the "Catty Shack"...
And Miss Personality, Rio, just kept an eye on everything...
Harley took advantage of the nice warm day, hit 70º, but felt like 80º in the sun.
When I came back from PJ and Dave's I saw this plane and contrail... (they fascinate me)
It also fascinates me that my lens can capture it and the plane while they are so far away!

Dinner was the stir fry with soba noodles again. So good. I steamed the broccoli and some cut up baby carrots, and then I cooked some turkey bacon this time. After the bacon cooked I tossed it all together with some hoisin sauce and sesame oil and a drizzle of olive oil infused with lemon.
