Good 58º whispy cloud morning....
We warmed to 84º yesterday. Overcast in the morning but by afternoon the
clouds were dancing in the sky! I LOVE cloud formations!
And this morning...
Look Vivia... my protein breakfast... chicken thigh, plain Greek yogurt,
banana and blueberries. Oh, and a squirt of Laney Honey! (www.laneyhoney.com )
After being accused of stealing water for his 60 acre ranch,
the truth comes out about Tom Selleck.
(He's always been such a favorite of mine. Good man, good
family .. my sister knew them) and conservative in the far left liberal world of
Hollyweird!)
However, after the district hired a private
investigator to look into Selleck’s water usage, it has been confirmed that the
“Magnum, P.I.” star paid for his water.
According to ABC News, it turns out that a construction
company Selleck worked with actually paid a fee to secure the rights to draw
water from the city hydrant two years ago, according to Jay Spurgin, public
works director for Thousand Oaks.
The deal allows these companies to haul as much water as
they want for special projects. They can then sell the water to a third
party, as long as that party pays their monthly service charge and water
bills.
It’s unclear whether Selleck purchased the water from
that company or another source, but it is clear the “Blue Bloods” star did nothing
illegal.
It was also reported that the water district spent
nearly $22,000 for a private detective to investigate the seemingly slippery
situation.
This funny came from Ike Saben (LASD ret) ...

Today is my sister Marion's birthday. (1934-2004) She is
missed every day. She was my pal. We were very close. Of course the poor girl
had to take me everywhere she went, being 9 years older than me. "Little Susan"
was her shadow!
