Good 53º morning. Looks like we're going to stay in the 80ºs for a few days and then cool to the 70ºs.
An historical game, my Patriots led by Tom Brady won 38 -24 over the Miami Dolphins.
What was historic, Brady threw 517 yards and Henne (Dolphins QB) threw over 400 so the total was over 900 yards in passes. Wes Welker ran a 99.5 yard touchdown. Good game!!! Whooooooooot whoooooooot! Full moon didn't affect my guys! Even Brady has cut his hair. I was going to have a chat with him about that. Good thing he thought that through. Next Sunday, Cliffie, it's my boys against your Chargers! (smile)

Yesterday I smoked some peanuts, just so I'd have some for today!
Maggie was keeping an eye out for squirrels.
Later we took a drive in the golf cart up to the pond....
(way up there at the end of the road)
The water is really low, something I can't figure out since we had such a wet winter and it hasn't been the hottest summer.
Anyone interested in a boat?

Then we went to the mailbox and on the way back there were clouds. Nothing ever came of them..... predicted "maybe" thunderboomers.. but not.
Dinner was rerun black bean salad on lettuce and corn on the cob with honey mustard mayonnaise spread.

National Peanut Day
Did you know that peanuts are not nuts, they're legumes? Peanuts are an extraordinary food crop, grown around the world. Many of us think of salted, roasted peanuts when we hear the word. But boiled peanuts, peanut oil, and peanut butter are all common uses for peanuts. They're even the tastiest part of Cracker Jack! ("Boiled peanuts" YUCK! Hot and soft. PUKE! And don't be puttin' any in my Coke® either!)
