Good 39º foggy morning.
Here is the weather predictions... I don't get it.... current temp is too
high and it says "81º" high for today??????????????????? Whaaaaaa??
I received the following video from a few people. Apparently the only
dummies we encounter are not just on the road or at Wal-Mart, but they are on
the golf course! (Giggle, sure would love to see some of this s**t happen to
BO!!!)
This from my buddy Dee.... <g>
Historically this date...
1842 – Ether anesthesia is used for the
first time, in an operation by the American surgeon Dr. Crawford Long.
1867 – Alaska is purchased from Russia for $7.2 million, about 2
cent/acre ($4.19/km²), by United
States Secretary of State William H.
Seward.
1981 – President
Ronald Reagan is shot in the
chest outside a Washington, D.C., hotel
by John Hinckley, Jr.
Another 2 people were wounded at the same time.
And births this date include....
.... a re-creation of his self-portrait....
Yesterday I infused the olive oil with the fresh Rosemary...
Measure out the amount of oil you need by pouring it into the bottle you
will be using to store it. Put into pan, heat to 170º. Take off heat. Break up about 5 sprigs
of Rosemary and put in the warm oil. Let sit until room temp. Take out sprigs
and pour oil into bottle with 1-2 fresh springs in it.....
I made two batches, the first one I put 1/8th teaspoon of lemon oil in the
olive oil when it was still warm. The Rosemary has a very definite flavor and
delicate. Can't wait to dip some fresh sourdough bread into it!!!
I did contact the guys at Woodville Rental in Rogue River. They are picking
up my riding lawn mower today and getting it running for me. I need to
mow!!!!
Yesterday my neighbor Frank and his grandson Evan took a ride up here. Such
a beautiful day and Evan loves to go riding on grandpa's quad! (He smiled AFTER
I took his picture!)
All I know. Nuff said. Happy Saturday. Ciao.
