Good 36º gloomy foggy morning! No rain predicted for here today, but got
another 1/4" yesterday. We'll see..... Kristen said it's thundering and
lightening and raining down there in So. Cal! Have fun driving, Californians!!!
Yesterday was a breakfast for Sami's birthday at Taprock. Some blue sky
showing through over Caveman Bridge...
Sami's favorite breakfast... ham, waffle with whipped cream and chocolate
chips, fruit, and an 'crushed Oreo & cream cheese brownie' ! I asked Brian
what they are called and he said, "Heaven" !!! They ARE GOOD!!!
Tucker also loves the waffles with whipped cream, fruit, a biscuit,
sausage, and the 'Oreo cream cheese brownie' !
I had my favorite, vegetarian omelette (fresh spinach, Swiss cheese,
zucchini, cremini mushrooms, tomato, garlic, and onion topped with Hollandaise
sauce) with fruit and a blueberry muffin. Also had a mimosa!
Sami was happy with her yoga mat and loved the singing Teddy.
She named him
"Bob". Bob the Birthday Bear! I also got her an iTunes gift card and a wooden
"briefcase" filled with art supplies.
Coming back home the drive was beautiful.
Didn't last all that long, buy afternoon it was dark and cloudy and gloomy
again and sprinkles!
Today is a special anniversary, my BFF Linda and Andy Nantz, he was in the
Marines with Jerry, are celebrating their 52nd Anniversary. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY

National Crown Roast of Pork Day
You certainly must be kidding, right!? National Crown Roast of Pork Day...
Why you ask?
Well, frankly, I do not know. And, why not just Roast Pork Day? Why does it
have to be a crown roast pork?
What we do know, is that it is National Crown Roast of Pork Day, a special
day to cook and eat pork. To participate in this day it must be crown roast
pork. Any other just will not do.
Have a great
day!
