Good 32º drizzling rain morning. Yes, rain! We are on a flood
alert up here in So. Oregon and No. Cal. There is still a ton of snow out there!
And it's VERY dark and gloomy also!
Grants pass didn't get the continued snow like we did here, as they got a
lot of rain yesterday. Cleared off the roads!
Night before last we got a huge amount of snow. Stayed 26º all
night, then in the daytime it heated up to 39º. Sigh..... stayed dark and gloomy
too.
Here is what we looked like.... the birds were frantic hanging
out by the bird feeder~
And later the deer ventured out and two does and a fawn found
munchies under the tree...
And this is why I don't drive in this kind of
weather....
Yesterday's NFL scores:
Good for the Texans and sad for the Lions!!!
Games today:
Ok, this is too funny ... dog lovers this is for us... dog snitches on sibling...

Later for dinner I had some of my homemade chicken noodle soup....
3-4 boneless skinless chicken thighs cut up and browned in olive oil. 2
32oz cartons chicken (low sodium, organic) stock, 6 cups water, garlic, several
shallots cut up. peeled baby carrots, 2 pkgs button mushrooms cut in half, green
beans cut to bite size, 1 cup white wine, 6 celery stalks cut up, Tuscan
seasoning, salt and pepper to taste. Cook on low 2 hours, add in package of
cooked egg noodles, cook 1 more hour.
Always so good and comforting.
Not going out again today. Too much snow. Even the trash can will have to wait!
All I know. Nuff said. Happy Sunday.
