Yesterday was another day with pretty skies and temps never got high... reached 87º and descended pretty quickly. Nice breeze too. All doors and windows open and enjoyed it!

My pal, Brooklyn Vivia, sent me this picture of the little dog, Jade, she just rescued from the ASPCA.
Vivia lives in an apartment and had specific dog needs. She has been without a pet for some time and really needed a fur pal! Adorable. I think she said the pup was 9 years old. Her family moved and couldn't take her with them. Lucky Vivia!

Dinner was simple. Super simple. A package of pre-made meatloaf, heated in microwave. Leftover pasta and veggies, cuc and tomato salad, and the last two stuffed mushrooms.

Then the leftover meatloaf went into a sourdough bun with one of my most favorite things, Best Foods mayonnaise... add a couple gherkin pickles on the side and voilá ... breakfast!

Here are three short videos, first one came from Cyndi Moreno (wife of Pete..LASD ret... Cyndi too,     ) Anyway looked it up on Youtube and found a few more. So trusting, these little birds.

And this is a dove!

This one made me laugh! Don't touch that handle!!!

In the mail came my Ice Chips. I love these little candies. They are made without sugar, but with Xylitol which is good for your teeth! (even my dental assistant Liz said so!) Also people with diabetes can eat this candy, no problem. They are made in Yelm Washington and were thought up by two grandmothers! They help with bad breath, tickle in throat, or just something good to pop in your mouth. I keep them in my purse and in my car. www.icechipscandy.com
These are the flavors:

You can buy them in variety packs or just one flavor. My fav is the Cinnamon but I also love the Lemon.
Have you ever heard of a candy "good for you"! This kind is.

LOL:

Yesterday stayed cool. OMG, it was only 77º at 1pm! Dude and I took trash down to the can and put it on the road. He ran, of course. Then a stop at PJ and Dave's to feed their fish, water, and put out their trash can.

If you have read this before, then don't laugh this time!
It takes 7 seconds for food to pass from mouth to stomach.
A human hair can hold 3kg.
The length of a penis is 3 x the length of the thumb.
The femur is as hard as concrete.
A woman's heart beats faster then a man's.
Women blink 2 x as much as men.
We use 300 muscles just to keep our balance when we stand.
A woman will read this entire post. The man is still looking at his thumb.
(Ok, this seems a little odd, really it's 3 x the length of the thumb? More like 2 x the length!)

All I know. Nuff said. Happy Monday. Ciao.

National Scotch Day

Ok, are we celebrating my heritage? or the distilled spirits from Scotland? Guess it could be all things Scottish, though it's most likely the latter. I like Scotch, Scotch Tape, Scottish Eggs, and Scotsmen ... especially Sean Connery
! It's that brogue. Mmmmm.... and kilts! And bagpipes! Yes. It's in my blood!

In regards to the distilled Scotch (which in any case many Scotsmen contain Scotch) here are a number of legal requirements in Britain that must be met in order for Scotch whisky to be called 'Scotch.' It must be made in Scotland, for starters. And don't ever spell it 'whiskey.' Here in America, we salute those tradition-bound Scottish distillers by recognizing National Scotch Day! Are you on the rocks or neat?
