Good 35º dark and cloudy morning.
Got these in an email from Mike C.... As I scrolled to the
second photo I burst out laughing!
There's an old saying that seems to apply: "Creative minds are
rarely tidy."
There is another saying that "A cluttered chaotic desk is a sign of genius."

Here they are:
I loved Ritchie Valens... especially his La Bamba.. but you
will enjoy this... La Bamba from around the world! (Ann, you will especially
like the harpist!)
Thanks Tally Huntoon for sharing!
And for your enjoyment... the Mexican Word for the Day:
Yesterday Jeff came out from National Door to install the new barn door.
All by himself, and a HUGE project ... taking down the old HOUMOUNGOUS door and
putting up a 9 footer. He got here about 8:15 and left about 11. He did not take
down the old door, I guess the guys who did the construction framing will do
that tomorrow when they get here. Then I will take a picture. The new door goes
up and down effortlessly. Yeah!
Then off to Jennifer's. First to pick up a prescription for her at
Walgreens then to her house to help her with her puppy. She hurt her leg really
badly, pulled the hamstring, and Mike was going to be out of town, so I went
over and we played with the pup (Love Fox ... maybe) ...Keeper wanted to get to
know the pup and puppy wanted to play with Keeper...
Took out her trash can and will go back today to see if there is anything
she needs.
Then a quick stop at Bill and Jeannie's for a glass of vino.
A friend of mine, Suzanne Santisteven, made me laugh with her FB post. She
is in Idaho and the weather is getting down there. She said it was time to put
away the flip-flops. Someone else posted a picture on her page...
That's what I do here....
Wool sox with the Birkies! (see Dude's paw on the left!)
All I know. Nuff said. Happy Hump Day. Ciao.

November 12th
Chicken
Soup for the Soul Day is today.
It's a celebration about you.
According
to the creators of the book series of the same name, Chicken Soup for the Soul Day was created as ".... a celebration of who
you are, where you've been, where you're going, and who you will be thankful to
when you get there!"
We
suggest you take this day as a celebration of the value and healing of chicken
soup, especially mom's chicken soup. Chicken soup has long been seen as remedial
for colds, flus, and just about anything that ails you. You can't find that
healing in a can. You can only find it in mom's homemade chicken soup.
Have
a happy Chicken Soup for the Soul
Day. (This recipe is GOOD and easy!)
