This is interesting.... more of this later. Shared by
my high school pal, Greg Lundell:
I've learned that I like my teacher because she cries when we sing "Silent
Night".
Age 5
I've learned that our dog doesn't want to eat my broccoli either.
Age 7
I've learned that when I wave to people in the country, they stop what they are doing and wave back.
Age 9
I've learned that just when I get my room the way I like it, Mom makes me clean it up again.
Age 12
I've learned that if you want to cheer yourself up, you should try cheering someone else up.
Age 14
I've learned that although it's hard to admit it, I'm secretly glad my parents are strict with me. (You see, if our parents were strict with us... we in turn were strict with our children!)
Age 15
I've learned that silent company is often more healing than words of advice. (Amen!)
Age 24
I've learned that brushing my child's hair is one of life's great pleasures.
Age 26
I've learned that wherever I go, the world's worst drivers have followed me there. (This continues to happen every single day!)
Age 29
I've learned that if someone says something unkind about me, I must live so that no one will believe it.
Age 30

Nachos.....
Slice green apples, squeeze lemon juice on slices so they

All I know. Happy Tuesday. Nuff said. Ciao.

July 22nd
Hammock Day
Summer
is in full swing. It's time to slow down and to relax. During the Dog Days of summer (and all of the other summer days,
too), there is no better place to slow down and relax, than on a hammock.
Hammock
Day is appropriately celebrated right in the middle of the Dog Days of summer (July 3 though August 11th.
Hammock
Day exists to enjoy summer as it should be enjoyed. People celebrate Hammock Day
by spending as much time relaxing on it as possible. Getting out of your hammock
to get a snack, or your favorite summer beverage is okay. But, it is not a day
for work. Cutting the lawn is forbidden on this day.
