Steve Geon ~ Chipotle Mayo ~ Clouds ~ 9'ers & Kaepernick ~ Edda Gahm ~ Odd Named Towns ~ Olives/Tomatoes/Artichoke/Chicken/Angel Hair/Bacon Alfredo ~ Sunset on KOBI

Good 50º scattered clouds morning.  Topped at 85º yesterday. Nice.
You Wilsonites should remember Steve Geon. He was in the class of W'64.

He and I worked on the Annual Staff. Steve became an LAPD officer and is now retired and quite the traveler... He sent this to me yesterday... he's in Estonia!
Still looking good, Steve~!!

Breakfast was the leftover stuffed hamburger patty on a sourdough bun with the new Best Foods Chipotle Mayo!

Boy oh boy, this stuff is good!!! You would love it Trish!

The clouds yesterday were great. Sent the pictures to the local TV KOBI.

Shared by my friend John: "Play for Pay"
Look... two POS in one photo!

Sounds like the 9'ers  are going to cut Kaepernick! YES!!!!!
He sure must have made his adopted parents proud! Not. Even his birth mother has now said she's disappointed in him!
Special birthday today... pal Edda Gahm. Here she is at Taprock when we went there while she visited from So Cal...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY E! I hope your day is GREAT!!!

This is funny, a town in Texas is called Earth. So when someone asks one of the residents there, "where are you from"..... the answer is "earth" !!!! I thought that was hilarious. There are a number of strangely named towns in this country... one in California is Dunmovin! Here in Oregon there is Drain. Also in Oregon is Boring! I dated a guy named Bob Boring!  Shoot, in Alabama there is a town called Intercourse! In Wisconsin, Spread Eagle! WHAAAAA???? Here's the entire list:

Later for dinner, another of my weird concoctions.. some of Harry and David's spaghetti, cooked and drained. Into the big pan goes olive oil,  two boneless skinless chicken thighs (broken up), garlic salt, olives drained, artichoke bottoms cut up, and the whole tomatoes mashed.....

Then I mixed in the Alfredo sauce and added the spaghetti.... heated through.

Then while watching the news on KOBI 5 at 7 I was blown away as they showed my sunset photo:
You will have to turn your speaker up to hear what Art says.

All I know. Nuff said. Happy Hump Day. Ciao.

Cloudy ~ Network Acronyms ~ Younger Generation vs Older Generation ~ Air Fryer Dinner ~ Dude & Bruiser

Good 57º cloudy morning.

Yesterday the cloud cover lasted all day and the temps stayed in the 60ºs til nearly 11am. Then it climbed to the 70ºs. By 1pm we were in the 80ºs and the clouds were thinning. We topped at 88º. The clouds were mixed with smoke from a couple of the fires... one in Ca and one in Or...

What the networks mean:

Ok, here's a great short story shared by pal Gator:
A very self-important college freshman was attending a recent football game. He took it upon himself to explain to a senior citizen sitting next to him why it was impossible for the older generation to understand his generation.

"You grew up in a different world, actually an almost primitive one", the student said loud enough for many of those  nearby to hear. "The young people of today grew up with television, jet planes, space travel, man walking on the moon, our spaceships have visited Mars. We have nuclear energy, electric and hydrogen cars, computers with light speed processing, and .....", pausing to take another drink of his beer.

The Senior took advantage of the break in the student's litany and said, "You're right, son. We didn't have all those things when we were young... so we invented them. Now, you arrogant little shithead, what are you going to do for the next generation?"
The applause was deafening. Ya gotta love senior citizens!

For dinner I found an Omaha Steaks stuffed baked potato in the freezer, so cooked it in the Air Fryer. It came out all perfect and crunchy on top!  Also found some cooked boneless skinless chicken thighs that I tossed with olive oil and cooked in the Air Fryer also. That along with spinach and tomatoes....
As you well know, that Air Fryer has become my favorite kitchen appliance!

So then it was a phone chat with a couple pals and chair, wine, and TV. Dude got chased off his couch by Bruiser... finally Bruiser decided he wanted to sleep in his chair so Dude got his couch back!

                                             LOL, silly guys!!! ♥♥♥♥
All I know. Nuff said. Happy Tuesday. Ciao.
