Good 46ยบ clear and sunny morning. I am praying for rain, along
with everyone else. That fire in Siskiyou county just south of the Oregon
border, the Happy Camp Complex, has grown to nearly 73,000 acres!
Yesterday evening I met Brian Jen Tucker Sami and Jean at Musashi for
dinner.
It was WONDERFUL! Brian Jen and I each had a 'roll'... mine is called a
"spider roll" (unk why) and has cooked crab, avocado, and cucumber. It's the
one closest.
... and I had a seaweed salad (scrumptious!)
Sami and Tucker are proficient with chop sticks!
One the wall are some of my friend Donna Walsh's paintings. I LOVE this
tiger...
THANK YOU Brian and Jen! And until you are formally thanked, THANK YOU SAMI
AND TUCKER for your gifts!!! AND JEAN for yours!
More pictures later.......
Yesterday was also the first day of school up here. Sami now in 1st grade and Tucker in 5th grade...
I have to share with you the card I got from Nancy and David
and Skeeter.... LOL!!
YEP, that is Bruiser!!!!! Only thing missing is the white
nose.... and he LOVES tuna!
Speaking of tigers...............
A great friend is celebrating his birthday today.. George Bachmeier (LASD
ret). HAPPY BIRTHDAY GEORGE!
(George a few years ago... playing with a tiger!)

Skyscraper
Day is a day to appreciate and
admire the world's tallest skyscrapers.
Skyscrapers
are truly engineering and architectural marvels. In many crowded cities, space
is in short supply, and real estate prices are ever increasing. Building "up"
becomes more and more logical. As technical capabilities in construction
improved, skyscraper buildings have become taller and taller. In addition, there
is a certain prestige to have one of the tallest buildings in the world in your
city and country.
