Good 54º super smokey morning. YUCK!!! Yesterday the smoke
stayed and we topped at 96º.
This was first thing in the morning...
and this was early afternoon...
Because of the smoke cover our temp stayed lower than predicted.
Good luck So. Cal with what is going to be wayyyyyyy tooooooo hot down
there for a few days!
I managed to get off my duff yesterday and get a few things
outside done before it got too hot and smokey.... watered, filled bird feeders,
filled water tubs (I love it, the turkeys like to stand in the water tubs!), and
cut up cardboard for recycling, took the trash to the road.
Do you have any idea who this woman is???
This is funny.... Brian, Jen, Sami, and Tucker went to Seattle for a few days. Took the train there from Eugene. He sent me this photo before boarding the train for the trip home. He said "look who the kids got to meet this morning"...

I saw some piggy tennis shoes and HAD to order a pair. LOVE pigs! My corn holders are pigs...
...which you can get at WalMart or Amazon.
And having been called a "pig" when working in uniform... I took it as a
compliment! It's like when someone gives you the finger and you tell them,
"Thank you for letting me know your hat size".... or "OMG, your IQ is amazing!"
Anyway, these should be here soon....
Guess I will have to get a pink shirt of some kind! Oh wait! I found this
one...
.... and this one....
Ordered them both! OINK.
Then I got a good laugh in my email from Gator...
I think my shirts and shoes will keep me safe!
I thought this was so cool. You will smile and cry at the same time...
mostly the military ones are the best! Pour a cup of joe or a glass of vino, sit
back and enjoy... 6 minutes worth....
Dinner was an Omaha/Schwans combo. I air fried a Sole Almondine and then in
a pan on the stove with olive oil, sauteéd (frozen) the vegetables. SUPER
GOOD!!!
Ok, the picture of the woman blew me away. Didn't recognize her! She is
Joanne Woodward, married to Paul Newman from 1958 until his death in 2008. She
is 87 years old.
She is really looking good for her age! Filled out a bit, as I remember her
very thin.
And today is my grandson Jack's first day of college! Go Jack! xoxoxo
He will attend Pasadena City College, aka PCC, or as when I went there we called it Pasadena Country Club!
All I know. Nuff said. Happy Monday. Ciao.
