Good 33ยบ morning. Full Moon out there kids. Be careful!
Mostly gloomy yesterday again, but the sun did actually come out for a
little while, dodging behind clouds!
The last of the snow still on the barn roof~
that area is where the bedroom/bathroom is and it's insulated right there,
none of the rest of the barn is insulated.
Sorry to hear about General Schwarzkopf passing away. RIP sir, rest and
peace are something you deserve.
On the other hand I was happy to hear President George HW Bush is
responding and getting better!
Yesterday was hairdo day.... when done there, after a fun chat with Leah, I
headed to the PO to pick up packages waiting there for me. Delayed due to the
storm we had, no doubt! Took Kristen's package to Brian's office, opened it and
took out my gift (Trader Joe's gift card!!!!! WHOOPPEE) and Brian took the rest
home to the kids...
Then I went to the Elks Lodge.
I had a super good BLT sandwich. LOTS of bacon! Jeannie and Bill showed up
and then Dee. I also got my ticket for the All You Can Eat Crab Feed this end of
January! Mmmmmm.......
We had a great chat...
On the way home there was actual sun....
.... and big clouds over my house!

Card Playing Day
This is the perfect time to spend an hour or so playing cards with family and
friends. And, it arrives at just the perfect time of year........ a few days
after Christmas. The holiday hustle and bustle is over. The kids are getting
bored of their new toys. It's time to turn to card games for a calmer, relaxing,
and more slow-paced form of fun and entertainment.
Enter the world of card games. Cards have survived for centuries as a form of
"play" and entertainment. Sure, there are a few serious gambling types among us,
who view cards a serious "business". To most of us, card games are just
....games.
Spend the day playing cards with family and friends. If you have kids, make
sure to play some age appropriate card games with them. You'll find its quality
time with the kids that will create many warm memories.
Happy Card Playing Day. Now "go fish", "hit me", "double", and "I'll
raise you two!".
