Good 31ยบ foggy morning, but the sun is breaking through...
Socked in here but looks nice in Grants Pass!
Thursday a neighbor's dog, Koda, ran the property between his
house and mine. Shows up here periodically. Golden and with the MOST energy of
any dog ever! I called his dad and he came and picked him up.
Yesterday Nancy came here and we met Dee, Jennifer, and
Jeannie at The Haul in Grants Pass. I don't know exactly how long they have been
open, across the street from where Chet's Nursery used to be, caddy-corner from
Rue 26. Rustic. You order your drinks and food at the counter and then the food
is brought to your table.....

They have a big variety of beers and even wine on tap! Nancy
had this 'stout' beer.. she said it was really good..
The rest of us had the Vinea (spelling?) ... Thanks Jennifer for buying us all another glass!
The food was GREAT!!! Nancy had the chicken tacos...
Dee and Jennifer only had the garlic/rosemary french fries (which were
AWESOME!) Crispy crunchy and soooooooooooooo good!
I had the braised pork sandwich. I ate EVERY bite! Mmmmmm..... so yummy!
And that salad... the dressing was HEAVEN! I loved it!
A couple sitting at a table next to ours had their order arrive and Jeannie inquired if that was the "Cuban Sandwich". They said it was. After they left the waiter brought one of the Cuban sandwiches (ciabatta bread) cut into slices and said the gentleman bought it for us to try! HOW NICE WAS THAT!!!! I was too shocked to take a picture! Duh........... REALLY REALLY GOOD!
