Today is my Mother's birthday. She was born in 1905 in Cleveland Ohio to
Scottish immigrant parents in her aunt's home next door to Bob Hope's family.
Her cousins and Bob Hope all played together. She was the middle child, her
brother Lloyd being oldest and sister Agnes a couple of years younger. Mom
passed away in 1994. She was a beautiful and wonderful person and a super loving BEST MOM EVER!
My mom, Margaret, at age 5....
.... holding me.....
...and at she and Daddy's 50th anniversary party...
I love you Mom. Happy Birthday! ♥♥♥♥
Sorry, pictures of the goodies going to Afghanistan will have to be
later.....
Today would have been Sid Hackel's birthday. Sid was the Reserve Captain at
the BC Range. He is missed. Good guy! He used to go fishing and hunting with his
pal, John Wayne. Sid's brother was The Duke's personal photographer. Sid had
lots of great stories.
All I know. Happy Thursday. Nuff said. Ciao.
