Yesterday I met up with Joann (Dee's pal visiting from So. Cal),
Dee, Kathy, and Nancy at Taqueria de Guacamaya in Rogue River for
lunch...
Nancy won't let me take her picture! LOL. She's soooo shy!!! Anyway I had a fish taco and a
spinach/cheese tamale that were WONDERFUL
Joann had a margarita she loved, Dee and Kathy had the tortilla soup that
they loved! Nancy took home some tamales for Dave. Nice lunch. Good time.
Mike came over and did more weed-eating and mowing yesterday. Dave should be here
this weekend to brush-hog the pastures... if it's not raining!

So Tuesday when I was in the kitchen fixing dinner I looked
out and saw Bruiser with a snake in his mouth. I yelled and yelled "NO NO NO"
and went running outside. He dropped the snake in the grass (LOL!) and was up on
the porch. I picked up the snake and put it through the lattice under the porch
so Bruiser couldn't get him again. Then I took the Bruise in the house. I am not
sure what kind of snake it was. Looked something like this... not quite as
big...
.... and not as robust as this one.....
It wasn't a garter snake, they are very colorful, it was gray and smooth
and about 18" long..... there is a type of boa up here and it could have been a baby one.
I was going to cook dinner but still too full from lunch. Just
chilled..... chair, wine, and TV.
Now, I am going to attempt to save this and post it if AOL cooperates and
my computer is behaving. Sigh...............
All I know. Nuff said. Happy TBT. Ciao.
