Good 32º foggy morning. My weather station on my desk says snow. The
weather prediction is for cloudy. Pressure is dropping.
Gadzzzzzzzzz.......yesterday was foggy and SOOOOO cold.
I am so tired of this. Whine whine whine..... It stayed 38º until after 1:30 when the sun finally
came out and then it was 50º. YEAH~ I was checking the blog from a year ago,
and nothing has changed. Same old same old ... in the 20ºs in the morning.
Frozen everything. Guess I forget how cold it gets. Brain farts. Old age. Ah
well.....
Put wood on the porch and made a fire in the late afternoon in the wood
stove. Was really warm and snuggy for a change. Hadn't had any wood on the porch
for a week! Then watched the two hour premier show of Chicago PD. Interesting.
Parts were intense.
Main character sort of pissed me off a bit, but will watch it again to see
if he turns around. http://www.nbc.com/chicago-pd/
PICTURE of the day.... from my trip to Nova Scotia, Boston, Bar Harbor, on
a cruise out of NY... and a NY tour by my friend Joan Petit-Clair ... the
Brooklyn Bridge..
I want to go back to NY and on my bucket list is dinner at Frank Sinatra's
favorite place, Patsy's. It is Italian and on W 56th Street. (Joan, ready to
go???) Joan and I did eat at Delmonico's.
OMGOOD!!!! What fun that was!!!!
Today is the birthday of my friend, Cathy. I worked with
Cathy at ELA. I called her Princess Leia, as she was so small in her radio
car..... It looked like she was steering the Enterprise! BUT, irregardless of
her size, you didn't screw with her... or you'd be cuffed and in her backseat
and on your way to jail~!!! (taken at ELA in July 1998) HAPPY BIRTHDAY
CATHY!!!!!

The WD-40 tip of the week... getting
ready to travel? Get out the suitcases and.....
Here's another good idea...
Crack eggs into a cocktail shaker, put on
the strainer lid, then gently pour into bowl. Only the whites will seep
through.
It also works as a garlic peeler. Place
unpeeled cloves into shaker, replace top, and do what Tom Cruise did best in
"Cocktail"... shake shake shake! Or............. put powdered sugar in shaker,
replace strainer top, and shake sugar onto baked goods or french toast when
recipe calls for a "dusting".
All I know. Nuff said. Happy Sunday.
Ciao.
