Temperatures ~ Doe ~ Haircut ~ Garcinia Cambogia ~ Boy & A Dog ~ DNC and Hill-Liary Shirts ~ Bruiser

Good 60º clear sunny morning. We hit 103º yesterday, 104º in Medford. In 2009 it was 108º here. UGH.
This doe was out on the side of the house munching on grape leaves yesterday...
Ahhhh, yesterday was haircut day. Always fun to chat with Leah while she works hard at making me look good!!! Her daughter Marley was there in the shop with her. Marley is so cute and fun also. Nice seeing her! She's almost 16. Yikes! Leah always remarks, "Your hair grows so fast!!" Maybe I should just let it grow and see how long it takes....

In the morning I finally got on my stationary bike. If you haven't exercised in FOREVER you have to take it slow. I rode for 20 minutes, 3 miles, and burned 151 calories. LOL, when I stopped and sat at my desk, my legs were still going around like on the peddles!!!  At least they felt like it! On top of that I started taking Garcinia Cambogia, a dietary supplement that is supposed to suppress your appetite, burn fat, and increase your metabolism. I have been taking it since Monday 7-25. I have lost 3 pounds!
BTW, I bought mine through Amazon.

This is a SUPER neat story. Awesome. Take 10 minutes, pour a cup of coffee, or a glass of wine, or go grab a beer and sit and enjoy this.... and keep the Kleenex handy for those happy tears!

This is DISGUSTING.... The DNC is replaced Sanders supporters with PAID seat fillers to create FAKE UNITY!

Well, you know me and shirts... saw these and giving them some thought!

Later while I was in the kitchen, taking pictures, I was being watched:
                                           'Whatcha doin' mom?'
Dinner was reruns heated in the Air Fryer. Sure is a neat gadget! Easy, quick, dishwasher clean up. Love it. Going to experiment with more things to cook in it.
All I know. Nuff said. Happy TGIF. Ciao.

July 29th
National Lasagna Day **

National Lasagna Day is today. We hope you have a big appetite. Sure, it's July. Its hot and humid. Cooking up a pan of Lasagna will make the kitchen a lot hotter. But as it cooks, the smell will waft throughout the house. Your mouth will begin to water. When dinner time arrives, you will have a huge appetite for a huge piece of lasagna. Of this, you can be certain.
Lasagna is a favorite Italian dish. In between multiple layers of lasagna pasta are generous amounts of tomato sauce, cheeses, and sometimes hamburger and/or Italian sausage. Its the favorite Italian dish of millions of Americans. We all would eat it more often, but this culinary work of art, made with loving hands, takes time to make and bake.
It is best to celebrate National Lasagna Day by baking the lasagna that you will eat today. If you don't have the time, or the weather is just too hot, then head out to your favorite Italian restaurant.
** Or make the slow cooker lasagna:
