Good 44º VERY foggy morning.
Yesterday's football:
The game was making me so nervous I decided to make a dirty martini....
with Vodka, the juice from my pickled green tomatoes (with garlic and a jalapeño
slice ... mostly my Uncle Lloyd's recipe) ..... put vodka and some pickle juice
in the shaker (was my Mom and Dad's.... so it's OLD, probably purchased in the
1930's!) and some ice and shake it up, strain into glass and add a pick with
some of the tomatoes.... OMGOOOD!!
Tonight's football: It's all about da birds~!
Today is a
friend's birthday... Mr. Kio Ebrahimzadeh! Happy Birthday kiddo! Many many more.
Amazing, you were born on the Shah's birthday! I'm sure that made your
grandfather happy!!! xo (Hey Kio, you good looking guy, you... I need a recent
photo of you!!!)
And... today
is also my nephew Jim and his beauteous wife, Melinda's 24th Anniversary! Wow,
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY kids!!! xo With their two boys, Sloan and
Ryan..

... to quote
a friend, I think I just threw up a little in my mouth! Such a phoney. So full
of herself. Stayed with that cheating baboon of a husband, why? Ambition! Also a
tempermental beeotch... a friend of Jerry's worked for the Secret Service and
said when first in the White House she and Clintoon both acted like they were at
Disneyland. When the SS guy told here something she wanted to do was not
"protocol" she threw a heavy crystal ashtray at him. He subsequently told his
boss that he would not lay down his life for her and to reassign
him!
1947
– Jaclyn
Smith, American actress
1961 – Dylan
McDermott, American actor
1967 – Keith
Urban, New Zealand singer
The rain stopped here just about the time the Patriot's game
ended. The sun came out briefly and the steam was rising...
So then I ran "5 Miles" to take the trash to the can and put the can on the
road...
There were 7 deer when I went out back to get the golf cart. No room on
today's blog, will publish them tomorrow. So pretty!!!!
Dinner yesterday... since it was World Pasta
Day...
I re-hydrated some freeze dried carrots and
peas...
I bought a roasted chicken the day before, took that all apart
and discarded the bones...
I put the chicken into a bowl, added in the tomato sauce,
Classico Creamy Tomato & Roasted garlic sauce, the carrots and peas, can of
olives, and some basil leaves ... Mixed well.
The fusilli pasta cooked in Lawry's garlic salted water with a
drizzle of olive oil. Then drained and added to the chicken
mixture....
Then I decided it needed a little "kick" so I drizzled in some sriracha
mayo...
Then half the pasta/chicken mixture went into a 9x13 baking
dish that had been sprayed with Pam. I sprinkled it evenly with mozzarella
cheese, Parmesan cheese, and the basil... Then top with remaining pasta mixture
and the remaining cheese and basil.
Bake 20 minutes at 375º. Remove and immediately sprinkle with
more mozzarella and Parmesan.
AWESOME dinner!!!
All I know. Nuff said. Happy Monday. Ciao.
