Talk about happy lambs!

Yesterday  morning early, Ted from Evans Pest showed up with his son Adam. They sprayed all my roads, around out buildings, and around the barn. Ted said give it 3 weeks and it all will be a lovely shade of yellow!

Remember Evans Pest Control if you need weed/grass spraying or pest control, etc. SUP{ER nice people. They do a great job!

While they were here the Quality Fence guy, Gary, came by. He emailed me an estimate on a new gate. Will get to that soon. The new one will have steel posts and be a steel single swing. Similar to this:

Breakfast was good... I put some plain yogurt in a bowl, topped it with the rest of the vegetables from the soup. Sure makes my tummy happy.

In Thursday's Grants Pass Daily Courier this was on page 2 of the Sports Section: Sami!!!!!

Before noon Nancy came by. Then we headed to Grants Pass to Tap Rock to celebrate her birthday that was Monday.  On the way I stopped at Leah's salon, Shear Perfection, to drop off more of the things I cleaned out of the cupboard that she said she wanted. Then to Tap Rock and met Jeannie, Jennifer, and Kathy.
Nancy - Jennifer - Jeannie - Kathy - me
Our lunch was fun and good!
Kathy and Jeannie had the flatbread pizza.... YUMMY!
I had the turkey/bacon/cranberry cream cheese sandwich on focaccia ... with sweet potato fries. OMGOOOD!
Jennifer had the BLT Crab Salad. AWESOME!
Nancy had the Field Greens salad. REALLY GOOD!

There is a site my granddaughter Alex has set up for Kristen. Her insurance only pays so much of her treatment and surgery. Unknown how long she will be off work also. This is to help...
She had her first chemo treatment yesterday. She said it was 4 hours and she was worn out. This will be good that the chemo will help destroy cancer cells prior to her surgery.
This picture is older, by a year or so, as Jack is now taller than his mom!!!

All I know. Nuff said. Happy Saturday. Ciao.

National French Bread Day

National French Bread Day celebrates those long, airy loaves with the thin, crispy crust. The French don't actually call them French bread, of course. Their term for their country's signature baked good is "baguette." Great served with a meal like any other bread, or toasted or filled as in many appetizer recipes.
