Good 51º cloud cover morning. Yesterday we finally got some clouds and it
topped at 94º. These were after 4pm:
Early in the day yesterday the young deer were out back munching on the
grass..
Not the best photo, but I didn't want to scare them!
Later I met up with pal Karen Baertschiger, aka Sugar Bear, and we had
lunch at the Twisted Cork to celebrate her birthday!
Got a high table right in the front by the window so we could watch
everyone go by...
Karen had the Southwestern Cobb Salad.... field greens, grilled chicken
breast, egg, blue cheese, bacon, cherry tomatoes, black bean relish and chili
lime pepitas with cilantro lime ranch.
And I had the Carrot Hummus Flatbread.... jalapeno oil, toasted pine nuts,
fresh spinach, roasted vegetables, parmesan cheese finished with balsamic.
OMGOOOOOD!!!!
Karen went shopping before lunch and I went after..... Good day. On my way
back home I stopped at our Depot Bridge. This is a special tribute to Patriot
Day aka 9-11....

Later it was the Full Harvest Moon Eclipse. Here it was at 8:45. We finally had clouds yesterday so I was concerned if we'd see the moon or not...
It was coming over the mountain. The "green" light is actually just a
regular light on the pump house, but illuminating the trees around it. I think I
need a lesson in photographing the moon. My photos never come out good.
All I know. Nuff said. Happy Saturday. Ciao.
