Good 52ยบ drizzly morning. Rained in the night... more on the
way. Doesn't look too promising for the rest of the Boatnik celebration... the
carnival, boat races, slow pitch games, eating contests....
Yesterday was the Boatnik Parade and the weather couldn't have been more
perfect! I med Bill and Jeannie at the Elk's parking lot and we walked to the
parade route.

At the end of the parade we just decided the crowd was too much so we just went home. Going back today to see the carnival stuff, be treated in the VIP Tent to free food and drink, compliments of Brian Pendleton State Farm!

When my Jerry was born his mother said his name will be John Wayne Maxwell. His dad said, "No way!" ...so he was named Jerry Wayne Maxwell! Also our good friend's brother was the Duke's personal photographer and Sid gave us several photographs!
