Good 37ยบ cloudy day. Pressure going up. Looks like with the one and off
sometimes hard rain we got yesterday it was about 1/2".
Odd date... 12-12-12. Wonder how many weddings will be performed today.
Jenna Bush Hager was on the Today show and announced she and Henry will be
parents for the first time in the Spring. Her dad and mom were on the phone and
the conversation was fun and lively. Matt asked the President what he wanted the
grandchild to call him and he laughed and said, "sir" !!!
My power went off a few minutes ago and after I said "damn" it came back
on, but most of my blog was gone. I hadn't saved it, just a portion of it I
wrote yesterday, so here I go again....
In regards to the Clakamas Mall shooting, near Portland, "The gunman was
dead, apparently from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, Clackamas County sheriff's
Lt. James Rhodes said. A shopper told KATU-TV he saw a man lying on the floor
with a gun next to him." Shame he didn't just do that at home and save injuries and deaths
and all the police response. Sheesh.
Yesterday I did errands in Grants Pass and Rogue River. I had won two $10
gift certificates at JCP when I was there with Jeannie the other day so I spent
those! How fun, free money!!! Today I have to finish up one of the boxes I'm
sending and then get it to the UPS store. Driving yesterday I was enchanted
with the cloud formations... Heading into GP:
.... and heading back to Rogue River...
Brian sent me this link yesterday. Funny stuff....
I told you the leftovers would be breakfast with an egg yesterday...

National Cocoa Day
This really is cocoa's time to shine. As fall turns to winter, a drink of
hot cocoa is always welcome. And with the Holidays, cocoa turns up in cookies,
cakes, and other festive confections.
