Good 72º sunny morning. Of course it's late now, was up at
6:30 and it was a comfortable 53º. "They" keep telling us "rain" but nothing on
the map.... satellite or radar. Yesterday quite windy, but that's
all.

Historically this

Frank and her family are placed on the last transport train from the
Westerbork transit camp to the
Auschwitz concentration camp, arriving three
days later.
2004 – Beslan
school hostage crisis – day 3: the Beslan
hostage crisis ends with the deaths of over 300 people, more than half of which
are children.
And births this date
include....
.....one of my most
favorite vehicles was my 1969 912 Porsche... what a RIDE!!
Total weirdo.
Yesterday was fun.
I went to Brian and Jen's expecting a barbecue lunch and was told, "We're going
on a road trip"... So Brian, Jen, Tucker, Sami, Jean (Jen's mom) and I piled
into their truck and off we went down to Galice. Galice is on the Rogue River
and near to where the Big Windy Fire was. Fire now 85% contained and no smoke
where we went. Here is a map showing where Galice is in relation to the fire
area...
So much of the
river was closed during the worst of the smoke and fire.
Here is Galice in
relation to Grants Pass and Medford:
We had a great
time. It was quite windy so we didn't sit down next to the rail by the water.
Had great presents given to me... Jen found, get this, Jellybean Chardonnay!
Jelly Bean Wines are vinted and bottled in Sonoma California.
Here is a smilebox
of the day's events....
All I know. Nuff said. Happy Tuesday. Ciao
