SUPER BOWL SUNDAY!

 
The logo change from Roman Numerals to Arabic Numeral is just for this year. Next year the Super Bowl will be L.

When I first heard that, from Jennifer, both Bob and I were taken aback. "Arabic", really? Oh wait, not Arabic writing, Arabic numerals! Whew!!!!!

Ok, off to the kitchen to make guacamolé, deviled eggs, and taquitos for Brian's Super Bowl Party! I have salsa and Fritos scoops also. Mmmm.......
 

Today is officially Jennifer's birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JENNIFER!!! Yesterday Bob and Micol and Jennifer and Mike and I went to the Bohemian for her "birthday dinner"... https://bohemianbarandbistro.com/
On the way into Grants Pass the sunset was pretty..


The Bohemian is unique in design. It is in one of the buildings in the historic district. A market, I think in 1894.


They have  quiet a few of Donna Walsh's paintings. (I bought one of the black wolf a few years ago...)



Food was great, wine was great, Bob and Micol loved the vodka. The entertainment, Relative Soul, was awesome! Father and daughter... I told her I wished she could sing the National Anthem at the SB game today!!! Great voice!!!

Our waiter Gabriel was also great and a good sport! He took this of us crazies... Bob, Mike, Jennifer the Birthday Girl, Micol, and me.....

Every NFL Football team wants to get to the "Party", The "Big Game", the Super Bowl! And, only one team leaves with the victory and a Super Bowl ring telling the world they are the greatest football team in the world.
 
Millions of people around the world hold or attend the "Big Party" at bars, party houses, and in their living rooms.  Super Bowl Sunday is the second biggest snack day of the year. Second only to, you guessed it, New Years Eve. Sit down and tune in to the most watched game of the year. Even casual sports fans take part. After all, watching the great ads and the super Half-time show, are as much a part of the game as the game itself. Many spouses readily admit, they watch the superbowl just to see the ads.
 

Remember when.....The Miami Dolphins defeated the Washington Redskins in Superbowl VII, to become the first undefeated team in NFL history. (1973)
