Good 51ยบ RAINING POURING morning. Started in last night. All the weather persons on the TV said a bunch of mumbo jumbo including the words "rain" and "showers".
...and they said it wouldn't hit us much, probably move off to the north.....
DUH. Pouring all night! The Heavens opened and it DUMPED! Yesterday morning 8am ... and this morning....
I found a Facebook page with this guy in his 'bacon helmet'...OMG....too funny!

Maybe National Bicarbonate of Soda Day falls so close to New Year's Eve owing to its old fashioned use as a hangover remedy and antacid. But we like to imagine that it is being honored for its great utility in the kitchen as baking soda! It helps dough to rise, and also makes a mean toothpaste. Good ol' bicarb!
